DIY Cookie Pizza Sale - St Margaret's Lenten Project 2016

Amount raised
£160.05

On Mother's day (6th March 2016) we had the first ever St Margaret's DIY Cookie Pizza sale. Some of the altar servers and parents helped to make the event a great success. Customers had the chance to choose a cookie, decorate their pizza box, get their cookie topped with chocolate sauce and then select up to 3 toppings for their pizza. There were also Creme Egg Pasties available, but they went quickly. Many thanks to everyone who helped out and, of course, all those who purchased a cookie pizza and topped them with lots of sweets.

Christmas cards and cupcake decorating

Amount raised
£157.50

Today (6th December 2015) we saw a packed hall with lots of creative young people making amazing fairy cakes and Christmas cards. We also had a raffle of a Christmas cake and bottle of wine, along with a few cakes, toys and knitted baby clothes to sell. With everyone's help, we raised a total of £157.50 which goes towards St Theresa's school in Uganda. That's enough to pay a teacher's salary for a year!
